The present study deals with the various steps towards pollution abatement and prevention in the river Tapi. The present study includes following components:
- Overall study to protect the river from any further degradation and subsequent improvement in the water quality.
- Field survey and Soil Investigations as per requirement.
- Flow measurement at various outfalls in river Tapi.
- Review of existing sewerage network facilities for the areas covered under proposed works.
- Review of current and future sewage generation and subsequent requirement of Sewerage Networks, Sewage Pumping Stations and Sewage Treatment Plants for the areas covered under proposed works.
- Preparation of detailed design of necessary sewerage components i.e. sewerage networks, Rising Mains, Gravity mains, Sewage Pumping Stations.
- Preparation of block cost estimates.
- Preparation of drawings.
- Preparation of various line diagrams for the proposed works.
- Preparation of Detailed Project Report.
